Neal Horn was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. He later moved to Tyler, Texas, where he attended middle and high school. He attended Brigham Young University, where he received his degree in molecular biology. Between his freshman and sophomore years of college, Dr. Horn spent two years as a missionary in Argentina, where he became fluent in Spanish. In 1998, while at BYU, he and Leslie were married.
Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Horn attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at the University of California at Los Angeles. After completion of his GPR, Dr. Horn was accepted to a residency in Endodontics at UT HSC Houston School of Dentistry, so the family moved back to Houston. In 2008, he graduated with a Master of Science and a certificate in Endodontics. After residency, Dr. Horn and his family moved to North Texas, where he practiced endodontics in the Mid-Cities area for 15 years.
Dr. Horn is excited to be part of the Fort Worth dental community. He and his family have always been drawn to the Southside neighborhood and have enjoyed spending time there for years. Practicing in the Medical District brings many opportunities to collaborate with other world-class health care providers.
Dr. Horn and Leslie have a son, Miles, who is in high school; a daughter, Audrey, who attends Brigham Young University; and a son, Parker, who also attends BYU. He is an avid baseball fan and loves rooting for the Rangers. He also enjoys planting native Texas plants in his garden and caring for his many exotic pets and orchids.
